Pipe Band

The Pipe Band of El Jebel is a military-style Scottish bagpipe and drum band. We play for graduations, weddings, funerals, and many other types of gatherings and/or occasions. We meet (almost) every Thursday evening year-round at the Shrine at 1830 for our business meetings followed by rehearsals. We have a very large repertoire – one of the largest in the area. We can provide instruction in piping and drumming. Although the ability to read music would make it easier for a student, it is not a requirement. Our equipment department should be able to provide necessary uniforms and equipment, although eventually a student will prefer to invest in his own pipes.
