A Social and Educational Club

OPTARS? This is not a word often heard spoken on Main Street or Broadway. It is a word derived from the Arabic language, and rather loosely translated, it means PICTURE. This word is used to describe an inner body of the El Jebel Shrine, a group of Nobles and their Ladies, interested in photography, and the practice of taking, and sharing, good pictures.

Photography is the main interest of this unit. You do not have to be a photographer to be able to be a member. Nobles and their ladies and friends share the enjoyment of photo presentations and educational sessions, with dinner at monthly meetings. The educational sessions will cover all aspects of photography.
